Back to School!

This week, Okaloosa County schools headed back to the classroom and our family headed back to school. Kaitlyn is in the 1st grade this year and was over the moon that she has her reading teacher from last year as her 1st grade teacher this year. Samantha is joining Kaitlyn and me at LJPS for the first time in the Pre-K class. She has Ms. Brown and absolutely adores her. Now that Sam is in school, our whole family wears uniforms: Duane his ACU's, me, the LJPS teacher uniform (sooo fond of that navy blue blazer...) and the girls in their LJPS uniforms. It sure makes getting ready easier. It's also a relief to have the girls in the same place. Given the commute off Camp, any drive is a long one so not having to drive to two different schools makes the day so much easier. Hope everyone else is having a great beginning to the school year or an enjoyable last few weeks of summer!
