Gulfarium Trip

Last Thursday, during Spring Break, Yohanna and I decided to take all of our girls to the Gulfarium. The Gulfarium is like a mini Sea World right on the Gulf of Mexico that boasts the longest running dolphin show in the United States. It is a perfect excursion for little kids - not too big that they are overwhelmed but just big enough that they have plenty to do and see and experience. We visit the Gulfarium at least once a year if not more and always have a great time. On Thursday we brought Yohanna and Jasmyn and baby Mya with us so it was a pretty packed mini van! The girls had a blast watching the dolphin, sea lion, and multi-species shows, the Penguin and Otter Keeper talks, and playing in the hands on pool. We also saw sharks, rays, tropical birds, huge sea turtles and of courses, Alligators. By the end of the day, the mommies were worn out and the girls were gearing up for their next adventure.......

A View from Above

Here are a few shots of Duane jumping at the drop zone off of 5 mile road. The sun was setting and it was a beautiful Florida evening. The girls and I parked up by the radar tower along with a few of their neighborhood friends and watched the guys jump - 5 plane loads this class. The girls never get tired of watching the jumps and neither do I - the scenery is stunning and there is something very peaceful about watching all the parachutes glide through the air.

Bowling & Easter Eggs

I'm a little late posting these pictures.........but better late than never. Here are a few pictures of the girls and their buddy Jasmyn at the B Co. family bowling night and the next day at the 6th RTB Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ. Both events were the weekend prior to Easter as Easter weekend Ranger students were here and all the Daddies were back at work. It was great weather and we had a blast.
